....Dale grew up in Orange County, California.  Before going to college, Dale worked primarily in construction and management.  Dale then moved to Missouri and attended Missouri State University (B.S.) and the University of Missouri (J.D.).  During law school, Dale took a year off to work on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. as a Legislative Aide for then United States Senator and more recently former Attorney General of the United States, John Ashcroft.  While on the Hill, Dale primarily worked in the areas of environmental and energy policy and land use issues.

....After law school, Dale went to work for the Greene County Prosecuting Attorney's Office in Springfield, Missouri, where he primarily prosecuted felony drug cases.  Dale was in court on a regular basis and was first-chair prosecutor in several jury trials.  Dale then took advantage of a unique opportunity to live and work overseas as legal counsel for the Palau Public Lands Authority in the Republic of Palau.  Palau is a small Pacific island nation in westernmost Micronesia renowned for its world-class SCUBA diving.  Dale then returned to Newport Beach, California where he worked for a highly regarded civil litigation firm specializing in defending railroad companies in FELA actions and other personal injury claims.

....In 2003, Dale moved to the Flathead Valley.  The following year, Dale was appointed by the Flathead County Commissioners to fill a newly-created seat in the Flathead County Justice Court.  Dale served a two year term as a Justice of the Peace.  Dale did not seek election in November, 2006 because he wanted to return to the private sector.

....In his free time, Dale enjoys spending time with his fiancée Joanna and his yellow lab “Duke.”  You can often catch Duke at the office.  Dale also enjoys many of the outdoor recreation opportunities we are so fortunate to have here in the beautiful Flathead Valley. You might catch Dale hiking in Glacier, fishing on Flathead or hacking around Buffalo Hills Golf Course. Dale is also a big fan of the “California” Angels.
